This new era of The Thick is heavier and harder. Prepared to release their second full length studio LP. The Thick continues to play a unique brand of music that pays tribute to a wide array of inspirations. A melding of minds, The Thick has a deep well of creativity to draw from and the best of it is coming soon. With pure, organic, non-stop energy; we make noise.

NEW SINGLE “MONGOOSE” OUT NOW

“I told you, I told you, I’m like a Mongoose, I’ll Bite You”.

We played a live set at a studio in industrial Toronto and upon leaving through the back doors a total stranger was waiting outside for us. It was an older gentleman who said he heard our music through the building walls and biked around the block until we came out. He’d been a working musician in Toronto since the 60s, and said that we had a great sound. He told us we needed to be “like a mongoose” and to keep biting back against the forces that can keep you down. This is the attitude we bear. Mongoose is a rock anthem for artists trying to gain success across underground music scenes. Through giving their fans something real, and performing with the undying energy of what it means to be rockers.
